Svalner, a distinguished advisory firm specializing in tax and transaction services, has provided acquisition structuring advice to Jeffrey David, the Chair of Musti Group Plc’s Board of Directors, Johan Dettel, a member of Musti Group Plc’s Board of Directors and David Rönnberg, the Chief Executive Officer on the recommended public tender offer for all shares in Musti Group Plc, alongside with the consortium member Sonae Group Plc.
Musti Group Plc, a leading Nordic pet care company listed on Nasdaq Helsinki, has received a public tender offer for its shares. Shareholders are being offered €26 in cash per share, valuing the total shares at approximately €0.9 billion (around US$1 billion).
With the transaction Sonae Holdings together with the consortium members is set to play a key role in the future of Musti Group Plc. Sonae Holdings is a subsidiary wholly-owned by Sonae – SGPS, S.A., a multinational business group headquartered in Maia, Portugal, operating in 90 countries across various sectors, including retail, real estate, media, telecommunications, technology investments, and financial services. Sonae is listed on the Euronext PSI-20 in Lisbon.
